Nestled along the breathtaking south coast of the beautiful island of Kefalonia, the Rosa's Beach Studios is conveniently located just 20 minutes drive away from the International Airport of Kefalonia, 25 minutes drive away from Argostoli, the vibrant capital of the island, and 10 minutes drive away from the port of Pessada, which provides connection to the opposite island of Zakynthos.

The 1.3-kilometer-long Lourdas Beach features mostly high sand, azure waters, and a stunning view of Ainos, Kefalonia's largest mountain. The beach of Lourdas is encircled by lush vegetation and is located in the charming village of Lourdata, which is known for its rich, fertile soil. An uphill road lined with olive trees and other vegetation leads from Lourdas' beach road to the village centre, where a massive plane tree that is thought to be 150 years old stands. A lovely traditional cool cafe is located beneath its large branches, where you can unwind and take in the surrounding natural greenery.

A mini market located on the main beach road of Lourdas is approximately 650 meters away from our property. A mini market and a small bakery located on the steep, uphill main road leading to the centre of the village of Lourdata are approximately 700 meters away from our property. Traditional Greek taverns and restaurants are scattered along the main beach road of Lourdas. 

Kefalonia: a hidden gem in the Ionian Sea

Kefalonia is renowned for its breathtaking beaches, crystal-clear waters, and untouched surroundings, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and beachgoers. Myrtos and Antisamos beaches are among the most picturesque, while Petani and Skala beaches offer lovely locations. Fiscardo town, Assos Beach, and Melissani Lake are other worthwhile visits, each with their own distinct character and qualities. With Lourdata as your base, you can easily visit these attractions and experience the best of Kefalonia.
